  • Information you provide directly: name, email address, mailing address, and payment information when you donate, sign up for updates, fill out a contact form, or submit content through HBCU Proud | The Stage.

  • Automatically collected information: standard web analytics such as IP address, browser type, pages visited, and time on site, collected through cookies and similar technologies.

  • Information related to HBCU Proud | The Stage: if you or your student submit highlight film, photos, or athletic information for visibility on HBCU Proud | The Stage, we collect what is voluntarily submitted for that purpose.

How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to process donations, respond to inquiries, send updates about HBCU Proud Foundation and HBCU Proud | The Stage, improve our Site, and meet legal and accounting obligations as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit.

Donations and Payment Processing

Donations made through our Site are processed by a third-party payment processor. We do not store full credit card or banking information on our own servers. Please refer to our payment processor's privacy policy for details on how they handle your payment data.

Minors and HBCU Proud | The Stage

HBCU Proud | The Stage is designed to showcase high school student-athletes. Where a participant is under 18, we require parent or guardian consent prior to publishing any photo, video, or personal information, and we limit the personal information displayed publicly to what is necessary for athletic visibility (name, sport, school, graduation year). Parents or guardians may request removal of their student's content at any time by emailing hello@hbcuproud.org.

Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with service providers who help us operate the Site and process donations (such as our website host and payment processor), or when required by law.

Cookies

Our Site may use cookies to understand how visitors use the Site and to improve user experience. You can disable cookies through your browser settings, though some Site features may not function properly as a result.
